Introducing the Opening Performance of the 2026 Busan International Performing Arts Market!
On October 1, BPAM begins its seven-day journey with
〈QUAD, Questions of Theatre: The sound of Macbeth〉 by Kimara P.Group TAE.
This cross-genre music theatre piece reinterprets Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth through sound, bringing together the actors’ voices, music, movement, and bodies as a single stage language.
Rather than simply retelling the original story, the work focuses on the poetic imagery and musical rhythm within Shakespeare’s language, inviting today’s audience to look again at a world where desire and violence continue to repeat themselves.
